Indhu has been the Artistic Director of the Tricycle Theatre since 2012.
Her inaugural production was the multi award-winning Red Velvet by Lolita Chakrabarti (Evening Standard Award and Critics’ Circle Award), which transferred to New York in April 2014 and London’s Garrick Theatre in January 2016 as part of the Kenneth Branagh Plays at the Garrick season. Handbagged was first produced at the Tricycle Theatre in autumn 2013, winning an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre, before transferring to the West End in 2014 and subsequent National Tour in 2015.
Other productions as artistic director include: A Wolf In Snakeskin Shoes, Multitudes, The House That Will Not Stand and Paper Dolls.
Indhu has recently directed The Motherf**cker with the Hat (National Theatre – Evening Standard Award-winner for Best Play, Evening Standard Award nomination for Best Director).
