Located in Brent, the most diverse borough in London, the Tricycle is a local venue with an international vision. Recent Tricycle productions include the UK premiere of A Wolf in Snakeskin Shoes and The House That Will Not Stand by Marcus Gardley; Multitudes by John Hollingworth; the Olivier Award-winning Handbagged by Moira Buffini, West End/UK tour; Molière Award-winning The Father by Florian Zeller, West End; Paper Dolls by Philip Himberg and Red Velvet by Lolita Chakrabarti, New York/West End, winner of two Critics’ Circle Awards and an Evening Standard Award.
The Tricycle has collaborated with Sundance Theatre Lab, Complicite, Frantic Assembly, Birmingham Rep, Tiata Fahodzi, Paines Plough, Liverpool Everyman, Eclipse Theatre, Bath Theatre Royal, Why Not Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth, amongst others.
Their ambitious Creative Learning programme aims to develop the imagination, aspiration and potential of children and young people. The Tricycle invests in creating meaningful relationships with young people, who are passionate about theatre but often have limited access to it.
