Jonathan joined Digital Theatre Plus in October 2014. He trained as an actor first at Manchester School of Theatre, where he was fortunate to be guided by experienced theatre practitioners and saw a wide range of productions, and now believes in the importance of current industry insight and access to great theatre for all students.

For the last ten years he has worked with audiences, ensuring they have the best possible experience from performance and theatre, as Subscriptions Officer at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre as Customer Service Assistant. As Development Assistant he experienced the importance of theatre to the community and worked with the youth theatre where he saw first-hand the value of young people's engagement with theatre.

As Business Development Manager at Opilio he worked with new Digital Media technologies, understanding how people are engaging with their favourite companies online and using the web for education and entertainment.

He is now excited to work at the forefront of the theatre industry's embrace of digital media. He is passionate about the role of theatre, especially in education, and enjoys reaching out to educators around the world to provide them the opportunity to experience Digital Theatre Plus, an invaluable online tool for students to engage with theatre whenever and wherever they need.
