We were delighted to join forces with the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) for our latest webinar: Greek Tragedy in Rehearsal, hosted last Thursday 11th August.
The exclusive online event saw a group of three dynamic theatre artists come together in a roundtable discussion to unpack how they'll be approaching and exploring the contemporary relevance of the ancient Greek tragedy Oedipus Tyrannus in their forthcoming workshop at Seattle Repertory Theatre.
Our fantastic panel included director, playwright, producer and educator Carey Perloff alongside multi-award-winning actors Dr Nike Imoru and John Douglas Thompson. Their fascinating discussion explored the rehearsal process for the forthcoming workshop, the complex themes present in the Oedipus Cycle, plus the panellists' experiences producing and performing Greek theatre.
