Rap meets Poetry. Kae Tempest is a writer of rhymes, lyrics, poems, prose and plays. They have performed their writing all over the world, from Latvia, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, Austria and Munich to Sydney and New York, as well as at major European music festivals including Glastonbury.
Their first play, Wasted, toured from March to May in 2012 and their first full-length poetry book Everything Speaks in its Own Way was released in April 2012. Here, Tempest talks about their work to Richard Strange and performs some of their electric poetry.
