The Crucible

Arthur Miller’s The Crucible is a partially fictionalised telling of the Salem witch trials of 1692/3. Accusations of witchcraft following a game played by the daughters of a Massachusetts village spiral out of control and many must choose between their reputations and their integrity.

Little Eyolf

Henrik Ibsen
Little Eyolf is a tragic tale of one man's strivance to be the best father, brother, husband and scholar in his power, and his spectacular failure to excel in any respect. Families are torn asunder, marriages wrecked and dreams born out to sea, never to return, in one of Ibsen's darkest domestic visions.
