Digital Theatre Plus is delighted to announce the upcoming release of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, Long Day's Journey into Night, starring David Suchet and Laurie Metcalf.
The Olivier Award-nominated revival marks David Suchet's return to the West End following the sell-out 2010 production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons, which is also available on Digital Theatre Plus.
Long Day's Journey into Night is the fifth in our series of classic productions, which includes A Doll's House, All My Sons, Kafka's Monkey and Far From the Madding Crowd, all brought to you alongside our full package of extras including interviews with cast and creatives. Laurie Metcalf (Mary Cavan Tyrone), Trevor White (James Tyrone) and Kyle Soller (Edmund Tyrone) all speak to Digital Theatre Plus about their roles in Eugene O'Neill's heart-wrenching autobiographical masterpiece.
Directed by Anthony Page and with designs by Lez Brotherston, Long Day's Journey into Night is a riveting view of the life of James and Mary Tyrone and their sons Jamie and Edmund on one fateful summer's day.
Intense and passionate, this is classic drama at its highest quality.
