Professor Carol Rutter is one of the world's foremost experts on Shakespeare education. Between 2006 - 2011 she was director of Capital Centre, a collaboration between Warwick University and the Royal Shakespeare Company to develop open-space learning.

In her brand new in-depth interview for Digital Theatre Plus, Professor Rutter unravels the influence of Shakespeare's education and broader themes such as masculinity, shedding light on a play complex with subplots, deception, and misunderstandings.
Carol gives the play context and sheds light on original performance conditions.
