The acting company who brought Shakespeare’s classic tragedy to life in an acclaimed production from English Touring Theatre give insight into their respective processes as they prepared to play the characters of Othello, Emilia, Iago and Desdemona.
Each actor explains their own personal approach, considering the various elements that make up each role, as well as how that character interacts with others within the play. Actor Victor Oshin, who took on the eponymous role, also describes how his own life experiences impacted on the decisions he made as a performer.
