About this production

This stylish reimagining of Othello, captured by Digital Theatre live, was directed by Richard Twyman and performed by English Touring Theatre.

The production unlocks the play for a contemporary audience, presenting an Othello forced to conceal his Muslim faith in order to survive and thrive in Venetian society.
