Kate Fleetwood discusses her process of bringing Lady Macbeth to life in Rupert Goold’s dark and bloody film adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy.
Fleetwood provides an analysis of her character, focusing on key moments in the play which impact her relationship with Macbeth and ultimately lead to her downfall. She also elaborates on the decision to avoid investigating her character’s backstory while preparing for the role and shares her experience of working with Sir Patrick Stewart in the rehearsal room.
